About Beaudesert Park Farm

Enhance your visit to Beaudesert Outdoor Adventures with a unique, hands-on experience at Beaudesert Park Farm. These external sessions offer an engaging opportunity to connect with the natural world, farming practices and animal care, just a short 10–15 minute walk from the main site.

Sessions are available for Schools, Scouts and Guides, Rainbows, Brownies, Squirrels, Beavers and youth groups, and can be tailored to suit a wide range of ages and abilities.

What to Expect

Each session is bespoke and developed in partnership with the farm team, allowing groups to explore activities such as:

• Animal care and welfare (potentially including feeding and seasonal experiences such as assisting feeding goat kids)

• Understanding farming practices and food production

• Environmental awareness and countryside skills

• Hands-on, practical learning in a working farm environment

• Food – Bread/Pizza / Burger / Sausage Making

• Rural art and crafts eg. charcoal landscape drawing, bird feeders, clay modelling

Activities will vary depending on:

• Age and group needs

• Curriculum Learning objectives or Scout / Guide badge requirements

• Seasonal changes and farming activity on site

• The farm provides a safe and welcoming environment with: • Full insurance cover • Indoor classroom space for workshops • Toilet facilities • Experienced , DBS checked, CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visit Accreditation Scheme) and PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) qualified staff to lead sessions

Groups will be met at the bottom of the Quarry Track (Gas House Hill) and guided to and from the farm by the farm team.

Curriculum Links (Schools) Farm sessions can support a wide range of curriculum areas, including:

• Science (life cycles, habitats, animals including humans)

• Geography (land use, farming, sustainability)

• PSHE (responsibility, teamwork, wellbeing)

• Design & Technology (food production and sourcing)

Sessions can be adapted to meet specific key stage outcomes and learning objectives.

Due to the bespoke nature of the sessions, availability and pricing are provided on enquiry. The Beaudesert team will liaise directly with the farm to arrange your visit.
