The Great Escape
The away day your team has been quietly hoping someone would organise. No agenda. No presentations. No icebreaker where everyone says their name and a fun fact. Just a genuinely brilliant day out on 120 acres of Cannock Chase, three instructor-led activities, a proper sit-down lunch and the kind of shared experience that gets talked about for months. Beyond the Boardroom, Powered by Belbin
Team development that actually sticks. Most team development days involve a lot of talking about working better together. This one involves actually doing it. Before the day, every participant completes a Belbin Self-Perception Inventory and so do their colleagues. Because the most revealing part isn't how you see yourself. It's how others see you. On the day, each person receives their individual Belbin Team Role Report. Carl then facilitates a structured session bringing those insights together and then you take it outside. Beyond the Boardroom is hosted at Haden's Lodge, a spacious, well-equipped venue sitting right at the heart of the Beaudesert site. Projector, kitchen facilities, space for up to 80 delegates and a view of 120 acres of Cannock Chase woodland straight out of the window. And when Carl says "right, let's take this outside" the outdoor activity areas are literally 30 seconds away. No taxis. No transfers. No losing half the group in a car park. Just straight outside.
