Eliminator - Vertical assault course
Climb higher, move faster, and push your limits on our toughest obstacle course.
About Eliminator - Vertical assault course
The Eliminator is a towering obstacle course that challenges your balance, strength, and determination. You’ll climb on stacked tyres, navigate awkward gaps, and work your way upward using focus, coordination, and a steady mindset. Every section encourages you to push a little further and trust your abilities. Whether you reach the very top or conquer a height you didn’t think you could, this activity builds resilience, confidence, and a real sense of achievement — one tyre at a time.
Session Details
Key Features
The course combines climbing, balancing, and agility challenges at height across multiple connected elements, with a full harness and continuous overhead belay system keeping participants safe throughout. It is suitable for older children, teenagers, and adults seeking a genuine physical test, and the progression through the course means the challenge builds naturally as participants advance. The peer atmosphere generated by the Eliminator is one of its greatest strengths — participants instinctively cheer each other through difficult sections, and the sense of group achievement at the end is palpable. A structured debrief can be incorporated for groups focused on personal development themes.
Badge and Programme Links
The Eliminator is Beaudesert's most physically demanding high-ropes challenge — a multi-element vertical assault course that tests strength, strategy and nerve in equal measure. As a high-ropes activity, it falls within the same Scouts Climber Activity Badge alternative pathway that covers high ropes and climbing-like activities. Girlguiding members earn the Height Adventure Badge across all sections. Schools access the KS3 and KS4 PE requirement to "tackle complex and demanding physical activities" and the OAA intellectual and physical challenge outcomes. The Eliminator is also outstanding for developing grit — real, tangible perseverance in the face of something genuinely hard — alongside goal-setting, self-belief and the confidence that comes from doing something you didn't think you could do.

The Eliminator is operated under a comprehensive Site Operating Procedure with full risk assessment.
