On arrival, you are immediately met by the sixteen Anglesey Drive sites. These flat, well grassed and open sites are ideal for larger events and for groups that want more open field camping. Other open spaces are the two sites in the Walled Garden. There are a further fourteen grassed glades of various sizes in the woodland across the whole site. These are also used for camping but within easy reach of one of our three toilet blocks.
A further six sites are in more secluded areas, away from the toilet blocks making them ideal for bushcraft style camping.
Sites are as follows:
open flat field sites – Anglesey 1 to 16
Wooded glades – Paget, D of E, French, Broad Hazels 20,21 and 22, Oak Woodland 23 and 24, Maze, Dorothy Dean, Naboth’s Vineyard, Model, Triangle
Secluded Sites – Backwoods 25, 26 and 27, Hollow, Terrace, Bluebell Wood
There are numerous water stand pipes on site. Some sites (Paget, DofE, Maze, and Model) have open fronted wooden shelters on them, and others (Paget, Oak Woodlands, Maze, Naboth’s Vineyard and Model) have fire pits for open fires. Altar fires are required for all other sites and we have a limited number of these on site.
Vehicle parking is available adjacent to most campsites.
