About Camping
Situated near the top of a wooded hill overlooking Cannock Chase, our former country estate provides an excellent setting for a wide variety of camping experiences, from large organised events to traditional woodland and bushcraft-style camps.
Numerous water standpipes are located across the site to provide easy access to fresh water. Vehicle parking is available adjacent to most campsites, allowing for convenient unloading and access.
Campsite Types
Open Field Sites — Anglesey (1-16)
Sixteen flat, well-grassed, open field sites on Anglesey Drive. Particularly suited to larger groups and events, or for those who prefer open space camping.
Woodland Glades
Fourteen grassed glades of varying sizes across the woodland areas. A more traditional outdoor camping experience while remaining within easy reach of shower blocks.
Secluded Sites
Five campsites in quieter, more remote areas of the site. Further from toilet blocks — ideal for bushcraft-style camping and a back-to-basics experience.
Facilities & Extras
Wooden Shelters
Open-fronted shelters at Paget, D of E, Maze, and Model sites.
Fire Pits
Fire pits for open fires at Paget, Oak Woodland, Maze, Naboth's Vineyard, and Model.
Altar Fires
Required for all other campsites. A limited number are available to hire on site.
Vehicle Access
Parking available adjacent to most campsites for convenient unloading and access.
Fresh Water
Numerous water standpipes located across the site for easy access.
Shower Blocks
Shower and toilet facilities accessible from all camping areas.
