The team made fantastic progress clearing the pedal kart track and rebuilding the tyre safety wall — moving an impressive 150 tyres in the process. Their hard work has helped keep this popular activity area safe and ready for use.
In addition, volunteers cut back and prepared the flower beds around reception and the main car park, helping to refresh some of the first areas visitors see when arriving on site. The group also carried out important maintenance within the Memorial Garden, carefully clearing overgrown areas and uncovering several historical plaques that were starting to become hidden over time.
The day also included work within the Friends of Beau Gardens, where the team assisted with general upkeep to help maintain these valued spaces for everyone to enjoy.
We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and enthusiasm shown by the 1st Burntwood Scouts Service Team. Volunteer support like this plays a vital role in helping us care for and improve the centre for all our visitors.
