At Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre, we see every day how outdoor adventure helps young people grow in confidence, challenge themselves and create lasting memories.
One of the most loved activities on site, our zipline has long been a favourite for visitors of all ages. For many of the kids that visit, it’s that first brave step out of their comfort zone whether that’s climbing the platform or finally letting go and enjoying the ride.
When it became clear that the zipline needed replacing, it was important to us that this much-loved experience remained part of what we offer. Ensuring safe, high-quality activities for our visitors is always a top priority and we were determined to have the zipline ready for the busy season ahead.
Thanks to the generous support of Titanic Brewery Foundation, we’ve been able to do exactly that.
With their funding, we worked with specialist installers to deliver a brand-new zipline, designed to the highest standards and ready to welcome thousands of young people once again.
Each year, we welcome around 50,000 visitors to Beaudesert, including Scouts, Girl Guides, schools, corporate groups and those taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Activities like the zipline play a huge role in helping young peoples build resilience, develop confidence and experience the outdoors in a meaningful way.
The return of the zipline means that even more young people will have the chance to challenge themselves, support one another and create memories that last long after their visit.
We are incredibly grateful for this support and excited to see the zipline back in action for a busy season ahead.
