Senior Instructor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Instructor to start by the end of September.

You will hold a number of activity qualifications including, RCI or CWI and PSI. It would also be advantageous if you had a PPE checking qualification but not essential as a course can be provided.

You will instruct activities, look after the safety checks and help to train other instructors.

You will need to be happy to work weekends and some evenings.

Beaudesert is a 120 acre camping and activity centre for Scouts, Guides, Youth organisations and schools. Activities include, Via Ferrata, Natural Rock Abseil, Zip Line, Coracling, Sit on Kayaks, Raft Building, Jacobs Ladder, Crate Stacking, High Ropes, Archery, Fencing, Tomahawks, Caving simulator and Rifle Shooting. Beaudesert is a busy centre with a team of up to 14 instructors plus freelancers during peak season.

Working 40 hours per week on average.

Generous training package for further personal development.

£24 to £26K per year.

2025 Apprentice Activity Instructors

Starting on 1st February 2025 you will take part in a thorough training programme for 2 1/2 months and then begin gaining experience in instructing activities. Courses will include, National Governing Body Awards in Archery GB, NSRA Rifle Shooting, British Fencing PSI Paddle Sports, First Aid, Food Hygiene, internal ropes assessments and an accredited bushcraft course. Accommodation provided at a discounted rate, option to buy into a meals package and free uniform. If you like the outdoors and like working with children this could be the perfect start to your career. Applicants must be 18 years old by 1st February. Assessment day and interviews early November.

Freelance Activity Instructors

We are looking for freelance activity instructors to join our pool of instructors for 2024.  You will need to hold one of the following Archery GB instructor, NSRA Instructor. To apply please email centremanager@beaudesert.org.uk 

Casual Activity Staff

Join our team of casual activity instructors paid through our payroll.  You must have at least 1 of the following:  NSRA shooting award, Archery GB archery instructor, British Fencing instructor award, or experience in leading quality bushcraft sessions.

Casual kitchen porters

Join our team of casual kitchen porters, helping to deliver meals to schools, scout groups, guide groups and other youth groups. You will be willing to wash up, clean tables sweep the floor and generally keep the dining room clean and tidy. You will also, with training be willing to learn to help prep food and serve customers.
